Who you're hiring

Why should you trust me?

Google did.

I didn't learn SEO from a blog. I worked with Google directly. They featured me on their Google Activate program all over Europe. If Google trusted me to represent them, you can trust me to rank you on them.

Before you hire anyone

E-commerce website red flags

Building an online store is fundamentally different from building a regular website. Your store handles real money, real inventory, and real customer data. Mistakes cost you sales. Before you hire someone to build your store, watch for these:

They recommend the same platform for every project

Shopify is great for some stores. WooCommerce is better for others. Ask: "Why this platform for my business?" If they can't explain why it fits your specific product count, shipping needs, and growth plans, they're picking what's easy for them, not what's right for you.

They never ask how you ship products

Your website needs to work with how you actually run your business. If they're designing a beautiful storefront without asking about your shipping process, inventory tracking, or how you handle returns, you'll be rebuilding the backend within six months.

They don't obsess over the checkout page

Most abandoned carts happen at checkout. Ask: "What's your approach to reducing cart abandonment?" If they haven't thought about guest checkout, mobile payment options, or how many steps it takes to buy, they're building a store that leaks money.

They don't ask how many products you plan to sell

A store with 50 products works completely differently from one with 5,000. If they're not asking about your growth plans and how your categories will scale, you'll hit a wall as your business grows and need to start over.

They never mention product photos

Online shoppers can't touch your product. Photos are everything. If your developer isn't advising you on image quality, multiple angles, and zoom functionality, your products won't sell themselves. Great stores have great product photography.

They don't compare payment processing fees

Every transaction costs you a percentage. The difference between payment providers can be thousands of dollars a year depending on your volume. If they're not helping you compare options, you could be overpaying on every sale.

Their demo stores are slow on your phone

Pull out your phone and visit their past work. If it takes more than 3 seconds to load, that's how your store will feel to customers. Every extra second of wait time means fewer people buying. A pretty store that loads slowly is a store that loses sales.

They don't talk about how customers will find your store

If your products don't show up when people search Google for what you sell, you're completely dependent on ads. Ask: "How will my products appear in Google search results?" If they look confused, they're building a store that needs constant ad spend to survive.

Problems I solve every day

Sound familiar?

“I want to sell online but I don't know which platform to use”

Shopify, WooCommerce, custom builds... everyone has an opinion. The right answer depends on your specific business. Here's how I'll help you choose:

  • Ask about your product count, shipping needs, and how you want to manage inventory
  • Compare platforms based on your specific situation, not what's popular
  • Recommend the option that fits your budget now and scales as you grow
  • Build on the platform that's right for you, not the one that's easiest for me

“I already have a store but people add things to their cart and never buy”

Cart abandonment is the silent killer of online stores. Most of the time, it's fixable with a few targeted changes:

  • Audit your checkout flow to find exactly where people drop off
  • Simplify the process: fewer steps, guest checkout, mobile-friendly forms
  • Add the payment options your customers actually want to use
  • Set up abandoned cart recovery so you can bring some of those shoppers back

“My store looks outdated and I'm losing trust with customers”

Online shoppers judge your store in seconds. If it looks old or feels clunky, they'll find someone who looks more professional:

  • Redesign with a modern, clean layout that builds instant credibility
  • Upgrade your product pages with better images, descriptions, and reviews
  • Make the entire experience smooth on phones (where most of your shoppers are)
  • Speed everything up so pages load before customers lose patience

Your site, your rules

I build on whatever platform makes sense for your business

WordPress, Shopify, custom JavaScript, headless CMS, static sites: the right choice depends on what your business actually needs, not what your developer prefers to build.

Need an online store? Shopify or WooCommerce. Content-heavy site that needs to rank? WordPress or Astro. Complex web app? React or Next.js. I'll recommend the platform that fits your budget, your team's comfort level, and your growth plans.

You should never feel locked into a platform because your developer only knows one.

Here's exactly what you get

Every website I build does these 7 things

I study what's working for your competitors, then build you something better.

Use what's working for others

A website better than your top competitor

I look at who's winning in your market and figure out why. Then I take what works and make yours better. No guessing.

Make it fast

Your site loads before they can blink

Slow websites lose customers. People won't wait. If your competitor's site loads faster, they get the sale.

Design to sell

Visitors know exactly what to do next

A pretty website that doesn't bring customers is just an expensive business card. Every button, every section guides people to contact you.

Phone-first

Looks great on every phone and tablet

Most people will find you on their phone. If your site is hard to use with a thumb, they'll call your competitor instead.

Built for Google

Shows up when people search

Your website should bring you customers, not just exist. I build sites that Google wants to show people.

Build trust fast

Reviews and proof where people need to see them

People buy from businesses they trust. I put your best reviews and credentials exactly where visitors are deciding whether to call you.

Triple guarantee

Performance, ownership, and timeline locked in

Your site loads in under 3 seconds or I keep optimizing until it does. Your website, your content, your domain: full admin access from day one, nothing locked away. First designs in 2 weeks, launched on schedule. Three guarantees, no excuses.

Common questions

E-commerce FAQs

Quick answers to help you decide.

It depends on what you sell, how many products you carry, and how much control you need. Shopify is fastest to launch and easiest to manage. WooCommerce offers more flexibility on WordPress. For complex catalogs or custom requirements, a headless CMS with a custom storefront gives the best performance. I recommend the platform that fits your business, not the one that is easiest for me.

Every store is different, so I scope and quote each project individually. A simple Shopify store with 50 products costs significantly less than a custom-built headless commerce site with inventory integrations and dynamic pricing. Book a call and I'll give you an honest number based on what you actually need.

Yes. I've migrated stores between Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom platforms. Migration includes product data, customer accounts, order history, URL redirects to preserve your search rankings, and payment gateway setup. The goal is zero downtime and no lost sales during the transition.

Stripe, PayPal, Square, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and most major processors. I also set up buy-now-pay-later options like Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm if they make sense for your products and price points. The checkout should offer whatever your customers expect to see.

Yes. I integrate with inventory management tools, shipping providers, accounting software, and fulfillment services. If your system has an API, I can connect it. Common integrations include ShipStation, QuickBooks, Xero, and ERP systems. The point is your website and your back office stay in sync without manual work.

Slow online stores lose sales. I optimize images, minimize code, implement proper caching, and choose hosting infrastructure that handles traffic spikes. For custom builds, I use modern frameworks that serve static pages where possible, which load faster than traditional e-commerce platforms out of the box. I test every store against Core Web Vitals before launch.
