Turnaround Solutions is a B2B multifamily renovation contractor based in Gardena, California, with a second showroom in San Diego. They acquire, renovate, and manage multifamily properties. Over $1 billion in property acquisitions. 11 major client logos including names you’d recognize in the property management world. A sister company, Tasoro Products, that manufactures the building materials they install.

This is a serious operation. The kind of company that property managers and developers hire when a 200-unit complex needs a full renovation on a tight schedule.

The problem? No website. None.

Is This Case Study Relevant to You?

Before you keep reading, let me save you some time. This is most useful if you:

  • Run a B2B service company (construction, renovation, property services, manufacturing) and you don’t have a professional website yet
  • Have an established business with real clients but your digital presence doesn’t reflect the caliber of work you do
  • Operate from multiple locations and need a site that speaks to both markets
  • Rely entirely on referrals and direct relationships but know you’re invisible to anyone searching online
  • Have a sister company or product line that needs to be represented on the same site

If you’re a B2C business selling directly to homeowners, this probably isn’t the best fit. Check out Best Construction for a case study closer to that model.

The Problem

I’ve seen this pattern before. A company does exceptional work, has a track record that speaks for itself, and operates at a scale most competitors can’t touch. But online? They’re invisible.

I saw the same thing with Bristlin Construction in Wisconsin. Quality work, zero Google presence. The only way customers found them was through the owner’s personal network.

With Turnaround Solutions, the gap was even wider. A company with over $1 billion in property acquisitions, partnerships with major property management firms, two showrooms in California, and their own building materials manufacturer. No website at all.

For B2B companies, this matters more than most people realize. Property managers and developers don’t cold-call renovation contractors. They search online, check credentials, review past work, and shortlist companies before making contact. Without a professional website, Turnaround Solutions was excluded from that entire evaluation process.

Every property manager who searched “multifamily renovation contractor” and landed on a competitor’s site instead? That’s a project worth six or seven figures that never even had a chance to convert.

The Approach

I handled the UI/UX design for every page of this project. My development partner, eSEO Space, built it in WordPress, implemented the SEO foundation, and managed the AIO strategy and client communications.

Information Architecture for a B2B Construction Company

A B2B renovation contractor’s website needs to do different things than a B2C service company. Property managers and developers evaluating vendors care about:

  • What services you offer (and at what scale)
  • Who runs the company (principals and leadership, not just a generic “about” page)
  • What products you use (Turnaround Solutions has their own materials through Tasoro)
  • How to get a quote (with fields specific to multifamily, like “Number of Units”)

I structured the site around these four priorities. A dedicated services page with clear scope of work. An about page featuring the company principals and their credentials. A products page integrating the Tasoro building materials catalog. A contact page with a form designed for B2B inquiries, not homeowner lead capture.

UI/UX Design

The design needed to communicate credibility and scale immediately. Turnaround Solutions works with institutional clients who spend millions on renovations. The site had to match that level of professionalism.

I built the design around a navy and teal palette, clean typography, and professional photography. The homepage leads with a strong value proposition, a scrolling client logo bar featuring 11 major partners, service overview cards, and an embedded Instagram feed showing active project work. Similar to the brand strategy I used for Clean Cut Renovations, the design needed to establish trust in the first few seconds.

Key design decisions:

  • Client logo bar on the homepage. When your client list includes names that property managers recognize, you lead with that. Social proof at this level is more persuasive than any copy I could write.
  • Two-location map showing both the Gardena headquarters and San Diego showroom. B2B companies serving multiple markets need to make their coverage area obvious.
  • Tasoro Products integration. Instead of sending visitors to a separate site, I designed a products section that keeps them on turnaroundsolutions.com while showcasing the materials catalog.
  • Professional photography throughout. No stock photos. Real project imagery, real showrooms, real team members.

Development, SEO, and AIO

eSEO Space took my designs and built the site in WordPress with:

  • Responsive development across all breakpoints
  • On-page SEO targeting B2B renovation keywords
  • Schema markup for local business and services
  • AIO strategy to establish the brand in AI-powered search results
  • Google Business Profile optimization for both locations
  • Fast load times and clean code structure

Eight keywords from zero. The #1 position for their branded term means anyone searching for the company by name now finds a professional website instead of nothing.

The non-branded rankings are where the long-term value lives. “Fast turnaround renovation” at #11 and “construction turnaround services” at #39 are early signals that the domain is building authority in the niche. These are the keywords that will climb over the coming months as Google builds more confidence in the domain.

The same niche targeting strategy that worked for Sealwise Epoxy in Colorado applies here. Instead of competing for broad terms like “renovation contractor” against companies with decade-old domains, you target the specific language your actual buyers use. “Multifamily renovation” and “construction turnaround services” are low-competition, high-intent keywords that attract exactly the right audience.

Key Takeaway

For B2B companies, a website isn’t a marketing expense. It’s a qualification tool.

When a property manager evaluates renovation contractors, the first thing they do is search online. If you don’t have a professional website, you’re not on the shortlist. You don’t even exist in their evaluation process.

Turnaround Solutions had the track record, the client relationships, and the scale. What they didn’t have was a digital presence that let new prospects evaluate them before picking up the phone. Now they do.

If your company does serious work but your online presence doesn’t reflect it, you’re leaving opportunities on the table every single day. Not small ones. The kind of contracts that move the needle for your entire business.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Referrals are great, but they only reach people who already know someone in your network. Property managers and developers evaluating contractors start with a Google search. If you don't show up, you're not on the shortlist. A professional website doesn't replace referrals. It catches everyone your network can't reach.

This project fell under $5,000, which covered complete UI/UX design across all pages, WordPress development, on-page SEO, and AIO strategy. That's typical for a 5-10 page B2B site that needs to look and function at a professional level. Larger sites with custom features, product catalogs, or client portals cost more. I'll give you an honest number after understanding your situation. Check out my web design services for more detail.

Yes. Turnaround Solutions has showrooms in both Gardena and San Diego, and the site was designed to represent both markets. The contact page includes a two-location map, and the overall design communicates statewide coverage. For companies with more locations, I've handled multi-market sites across multiple states.

This is exactly what we did with Turnaround Solutions. Their sister company, Tasoro Products, manufactures building materials. Instead of sending visitors away to a separate site, I designed a products section that keeps everything under one roof. The visitor stays engaged, and both brands benefit from the shared traffic.

Turnaround Solutions went from zero keywords to 8 organic rankings, including #1 for their branded term. Initial results typically appear within the first few weeks as Google indexes the new site. The compounding effect kicks in over 3-6 months as the domain builds authority. Ongoing SEO (new content, backlinks, Google Business Profile work) accelerates the growth from there.

I handle strategy and design. eSEO Space handles WordPress development, SEO implementation, and AIO strategy. You work with me on all design decisions and approvals. The benefit is specialized expertise at every stage without paying large agency overhead. It's the same model we used for Tasoro Products and Bristlin Construction, and it consistently delivers strong results.

AIO stands for AI Optimization. It's the process of structuring your content so AI-powered search tools (like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity) can understand and recommend your business. As more property managers use AI tools to research contractors, having an AIO strategy means your company shows up in those results too, not just traditional Google search.
